FTP Server Options

The FTP Server Options tab allows you to configure the FTP Server you want to use to export your data.

To configure the details of your FTP Server, do the following:

Protocol: Select the transfer protocol you want to use.

- For more information about FTPS, see FTP Secure.
- For more information about SFTP, see Simple Transfer Protocol.
Host: Enter the hostname of the FTP Server you are exporting the files to.
Username and Password: Enter the username and password credentials for your FTP Server. These need to be entered as the server is secure.
Root Folder: Enter the folder that the files will be exported to. Files can be moved into other files of your choice at a later date.
Encryption mode: Select the Encryption mode to be used when exporting the data.

Discuss with your IT Department the Encryption mode that should be used.
SSL/TLS protocols: The standard protocol options have been provided here. Discuss with your IT department the protocols that are to be used.
Click Test Connection. A message appears at the top of the screen to let you know whether the connection was successful or failed.
If the connection failed, contact the Administrator of your FTP site the determine the source of the error, and try again.
Click Update when done.
