Creating a New DID

To create a new DID

  1. Access the DID page as explained in https://mycontactcenter.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PAR/pages/2885714098

  2. Click New DID. The Add DID dialog box appears.

     

  3. Enter the following information:

    1. DNIS: The country code and telephone number combination of the DID created to send traffic over the SIP trunk from Metaswitch to a queue.

      Notes:

      • If the country code plus telephone number combination is NOT valid, the new DID will NOT be saved and you will receive an error.

         

      • If the country code plus telephone number combination already exists, the new DID will NOT be saved and you will receive an error.

         

    2. IVR: The IVR to which the DID is pointing.

    3. Comments: A description of the DID’s purpose, and any other helpful information.

    4. Forward DID: The 10-digit number to which to forward this DID if it is not available.

  4. Click OK when done
