To create a new DID

  1. Access the DID page as explained in DIDs (Direct Inward Dialing)

  2. Click New DID. The Add DID dialog box appears

  3. Enter the following information:

    1. DNIS: The 10-digit DID created to send traffic over the SIP trunk from Metaswitch to a queue

    2. IVR: The IVR to which the DID is pointing

    3. Comments: A description of the DID’s purpose, and any other helpful information

    4. Forward DID: The 10-digit number to which to forward this DID if it is not available

  4. Click OK when done
