Managing larger and/or multiple Dynamic Notifications campaigns is now more elegant, with an important feature addition that modulates the rate of notification delivery.

Dynotes Throttling

Dynamic notifications (“dynotes”) campaigns can be incredibly powerful. You can reach a vast audience, across multiple communication channels, on schedules you determine. What happens, though, if a campaign is a little too successful - and your inbound call queues (for example) are inundated as a result?

Not to worry; we’ve thought of that! With this update, we’re introducing a feature called Dynotes Throttling. Using this feature, you can modulate (“throttle”) the pace at which dynotes are delivered to customers. As an example: assume you have a campaign set up with 1000 recipients. Instead of all 1000 notifications arriving at once, you can now determine the delivery pace.

When you’re using Dynotes Throttling:

  • Simply set the number of notifications per hour.

  • The number you enter will be evenly divided by 60 minutes. Example: if you allow 600 dynotes per hour, they’ll arrive at a pace of 10 per minute.

  • You can set dynotes throttling separately for Voice, E-mail, and SMS campaigns. The rate can be completely different for each communication channel.

How do I get this feature?

  • If you’re already using Dynamic Notifications, no intervention is required. You can set Dynotes Throttling from the “Manage Campaigns” tab.

Evaluator Templates have been enhanced with a feature that makes completing evaluations more intuitive, and report output cleaner and more actionable.

Evaluator Optional / Not Applicable

We’ve all been there. You’re completing an evaluation (or any type of survey, for that matter), and you come across a question that doesn’t strictly apply to the situation at hand. What do you do?

If the template doesn’t allow for logic flexibility, the answer is often “pick a somewhat random answer and move on.” This poses a couple of potential issues: a) the validity of the current evaluation suffers, and b) the output down the road, once you run your reports, is more difficult to manage.

Enter the Evaluator Optional / NA feature. With this change, you can now choose when building a template whether to enable “Optional” for each category. If Optional is enabled, the user completing the evaluation will see a “Not Applicable” checkbox for that category.

When the user clicks Not Applicable:

  • The question will have no answer value of any kind (text, score, etc.)

  • The answer to this question will not count toward the evaluation total.

  • No matter what type of question it is (e.g. yes/no, multi-select), the Not Applicable value will take precedence.

How do I get this feature?

  • If you’re already using Evaluator, no intervention is required in order to take advantage of this update.

  • If you’re not using Evaluator, but would like to, please contact your Service Provider.
