The following is true if public and private numbers are different:

  • Public number must be owned by us (ported to us, so calls are answered by an IVR application).
  • A private number can be virtually any number that is not owned by us (e.g. a cell phone number).
  • A user's CCA can login with any number (e.g. cell) where the same public DID reaches the agent, like a forwarding-original concept. The agent cannot use the public number to sign in.
